MEET LAUREN *
Lauren’s journey in dance began at just five years old when she slipped on her first pair of ballet shoes and laced up her first tap shoes. Throughout the years, there were countless moments when the weight of stress and anxiety made her consider quitting - but every spring, the thrill of recital reignited her passion and pushed her to keep dancing.
From competitive stages to collegiate performances, Lauren’s dedication only deepened. Along the way, she became a student assistant at her home studio, and before long, she was entrusted with her own classes - sparking a new passion: dance education. Now, with over 15 years of teaching experience, Lauren continues to share her love of dance with students of all ages.
But Lauren’s story didn’t end at the studio mirror. Fueled by a desire to help others, she pursued a graduate degree in counseling psychology while continuing to teach. Today, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in her home state of New Jersey and has been a practicing clinician for over 10 years, blending her love for dance with her commitment to mental health.
Now, Lauren is a pioneer in integrating mental wellness into dance education. She’s passionate about supporting the mental health and well-being of dancers, educators, and studio communities. With her unique background in both counseling and dance, she brings empathy, insight, and practical strategies to every training, consultation, and coaching session.
Whether working with students, parents, staff, or studio owners, Lauren’s goal remains the same: to create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive.
Outside of her professional life, Lauren cherishes time with her husband and two beautiful little boys. Her work is driven by both heart and experience - fueled by a genuine love for helping others grow.
